BJP takes on Rahul over NCC comment

New Delhi [India], Mar. 24 (ANI): Union Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Saturday took a jibe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his unawareness about National Cadet Corp (NCC).

Rahul while interacting with the students at Maharani's Arts College for Women in Mysuru, Karnataka earlier today said that he doesn't know about the NCC certification.

Rathore took to Twitter and said, ""......that type of stuff"!!!! Really?? Wow. Thousands of Indians like me, including PM @narendramodi ji, while in school and college were NCC cadets and @NCC_India taught us discipline, camaraderie and 'Service before Self'. NCC will endure and survive."

During the interactive session, a student asked Rahul about the benefits to NCC Cadets if he/she passes the examination with 'C' certificate.

Responding to the question, the Congress chief said that he is unaware of the details of the NCC training. "I don't know the details of NCC training and that type of stuff, so I won't be able to answer that question," he said.

Rahul's respone also gave fodder to the social media users who trolled the Congress chief. (ANI)
