This year, speakers will share their thoughts on what constitutes ‘Naya India’ and how our country, which is now the fifth-largest economy, can position itself as a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of independence.
Infosys founder and Chairman Emeritus N.R. Narayana Murthy will return as a speaker at this year’s ABP Network Ideas Of India summit. At the 2022 summit, Murthy shared his thoughts on how to leverage IT for a better future. This time around, he will be deliberating on “A New Corporate Culture: The Leader’s Guide.”
Founding global IT giant Infosys in 1981, Murthy served as a CEO for nearly two decades until 2002, and then as a chairman from 2002 to 2011. Even after stepping down in 2011, he was appointed as the executive chairman for five years, starting in 2013. He became Infosys’ chairman emeritus in 2011.
In a career spanning well over four decades, Murthy has seen the dynamically evolving landscape of corporate India over the years. Owing to his immense contribution to outsourcing in the country, Murthy has been dubbed the “father of the Indian IT sector” by the media and the public alike, and rightly so. He has also been honoured with the Padma Vibhushan and Padma Shri in 2008 and 2011, respectively.
Murthy will be sharing his take on the latest trends in the corporate world for up-and-coming entrepreneurs and corporate leaders alike, so tune in to abplive.com on February 25 to catch his insightful session.
