The Ideas of India Summit 2023 will see a host of speakers and one among them will be Bhavish Aggarwal, the Co-founder and CEO of Ola Electric and Ola Cabs. Aggarwal was employed with Microsoft before he co-founded Ola Cabs in January 2011 with Ankit Bhati in Bengaluru. During his two-year stint with Microsoft, Aggarwal filed two patents and published three papers in international journals.
Aggarwal's Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. also has an ambitious plan to build what it says will be the world’s largest EV hub with an investment of Rs 7,610 crore ($920 million), to localise the supply chain for cleaner transport.
Earlier in August 2022, Aggarwal announced his company plans to launch its maiden electric car, with a range of more than 500 km on a single charge, in 2024. Ola Electric is aiming to manufacture one million units of its first EV by 2026.
