Dr K K Aggarwal’s Family Trashes Death Rumours, Says He’s ‘Battling Serious Bout Of Covid-19 Infection’

A statement has been issued on the noted cardiologist’s Twitter handle stating that baseless rumors about Dr Aggarwal’s health are being circulated around, which has caused distress to his family and well-wishers.

New Delhi: Trashing all rumours regarding his health condition, the family of noted cardiologist and Padma Shri awardee Dr K K Aggarwal on Friday said he is currently battling serious bout of Covid-19 infection and is being attended by a team of expert doctors.

A statement has been issued on the noted cardiologist’s Twitter handle stating that baseless rumors about Dr Aggarwal’s health are being circulated around, which has caused distress to his family and well-wishers.

The statement further reads that he is being attended by a team of expert doctors and his health condition is stable.

“We request you to avoid believing or sharing any such rumours, and pray for his speedy recovery,” adds the statement.

Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry said that over 3,44,000 people have recovered from Covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is now at 83.50 percent. Over 2 crore 79 thousand people have so far recovered.
