PlayStation Plus Game Catalog July Lineup Announced: Stray, Marvel’s Avengers, More

Five Assassin’s Creed games and two Saints Row titles are also on offer.

PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Deluxe users will get access to a host of free games in the month of July, Sony announced on Wednesday. PlayStation recently revamped its subscription plans by introducing three new tiers — PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Deluxe. While the free Essential games were announced late last month, the free lineup for Extra and Deluxe users comprises several popular titles, including the Day 1 release of Stray. Two games were also announced to be added to the Classics Catalog, which can be accessed only by Deluxe members.

Stray, the upcoming indie platformer that will let gamers take control of a stray cat in a cyberpunk world, will be available for free to both Extra and Premium members on the day of release, July 19.

Apart from Stray, users will also gain access to the following games via PlayStation’s Game Catalog: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Marvel’s Avengers, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered, Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, Saints Row Gat out of Hell, Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition, Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure, Jumanji The Video Game, Paw Patrol on a Roll!, and ReadySet Heroes.

From the above, Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are PS5-exclusive titles. Stray and Marvel’s Avengers will be available to both PS4 and PS5 users. While the PS4 versions of all the other titles will be available as part of the plans, PS5 players can still access the titles thanks to the console’s backward compatibility.

All the games will be available starting July 19.

The Game Catalog will regularly add new games, and also remove some games alongside, working similar to how Xbox Game Pass adds and removes games from its library. If you have an active PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Deluxe subscription, you can add these games to your library and play them whenever you want. It should be noted that once a title is removed from the Game Catalog, you won’t be able to access them, even if you had added them to your library.

Additionally, the PlayStation Classics Catalog lineup will be updated with two new games — No Heroes Allowed! and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival. Both these titles will be available for PSP users.
