FAU-G: Domination Is Here — From Maps To Modes, Here's Your Complete Guide To India’s Answer To Call Of Duty Mobile

At launch, FAU-G: Domination introduces 10 distinct characters, each with a unique backstory and skillset. You’ll begin with five unlocked soldiers.

FAU-G: Domination, the next instalment in India’s homegrown military shooter series, has officially launched on Android. The big reveal took place at WAVES 2025 (World Audio Video Entertainment Summit) in the presence of Bollywood superstar and nCore mentor Akshay Kumar, who’s been closely associated with the franchise since its inception.

Developed by Dot9 Games and published under Nazara Publishing, the mobile-first game is a powerful step forward in India’s quest to build culturally-rooted, globally viable gaming titles. Think of it as India's answer to Call of Duty: Mobile (or rather, old-school CS:GO), marked by its own lore, grit, and purpose.

Now live on Google Play, FAU-G: Domination invites you to join the elite.

What Is FAU-G: Domination?

The acronym FAU-G stands for Fearless and United Guards, an elite Indian black ops unit led by the battle-hardened Dhillon. These operatives work in unauthorised combat zones where regular forces can’t intervene. Their origin story lies in the need for a force that operates in shadows, deployed only when diplomacy and traditional defense fall short.

"FAU-G operatives were previously army soldiers, mercenaries, and vigilantes," says the in-game brief. And if you're wondering how this plays into gameplay, Domination serves as a next-gen simulation to train new recruits using an AI engine called PARAM. PARAM can simulate real-world Indian environments, throwing players into high-stakes battle zones based on locations like Rajasthan, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai.

Meet the Squad: From Desert Scorpions to Silent Assassins

At launch, FAU-G: Domination introduces 10 distinct characters, each with a unique backstory and skillset. You’ll begin with five unlocked soldiers, while others can be earned through login bonuses.

  • Dhillon: The youngest general in the army and leader of FAU-G.
  • Mazhala: A tech prodigy with a bionic arm and unmatched expertise in surveillance.
  • Raaz: The ghost in the shadows — only a handful know he even exists.
  • Kiran: Spy-turned-commander with tactical leadership skills.
  • Veesh: Desert-born guerrilla fighter known as the "Desert Scorpion."
  • Agni, Vegh, Saya, Nibir, and Adhira round out the squad with unique combat styles, from demolitions and racing to hand-to-hand assassinations.

Each character isn’t just cosmetic — they bring tactical advantages and distinct combat flavours to the game.

Maps & Modes: India Becomes the Battleground

FAU-G: Domination Is Here — From Maps To Modes, Here's Your Complete Guide To India’s Answer To Call Of Duty Mobile

FAU-G: Domination is unapologetically Indian, right down to its battlegrounds. You’re not fighting in generic warzones — each map is inspired by Indian landmarks and locales:

  • Tibba in Jodhpur: An old-world military base used for basic FAU-G training.
  • Basti in Mumbai: Narrow alleys and graffiti-covered streets set the stage for urban combat.
  • Surang in Delhi: A deserted metro station demanding close-quarter combat precision.
  • Docks in Chennai: A high-stakes simulation of the bustling Chennai Port.

Game modes include Team Deathmatch, 1v1, Kiss of Death, and Weapon Domination, with over 40 weapons and support for up to 10 players. It runs on Unity and requires Android 11+ with at least 4GB RAM.

More Than a Game: A Tribute to India's Heroes

FAU-G: Domination is more than entertainment. It’s a salute to our protectors, claim the creators. In line with this ethos, Nazara has pledged Rs 25 lakh to Bharat Ke Veer, the Government initiative conceptualised by Akshay Kumar to support the families of fallen soldiers.

Players will also be able to purchase in-game cosmetics like regiment badges and insignias, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to Bharat Ke Veer.

A full content roadmap is expected soon, and with its desi roots, sharp gameplay, and national purpose, FAU-G: Domination could just be the breakthrough India’s gaming scene has been waiting for.
