Battleground Mobile India Pro Series 2023: Blind Esports Emerges As Victors, Wins Rs 40 Lakh

BMPS saw a massive turnout of over 15,000 fans who passionately cheered on their favourite teams and players.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 concluded with a thrilling finale at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad. Blind Esports emerged as the champions in front of an enthusiastic audience of approximately 15,000 fans, securing a significant share of the Rs 1 crore prize pool. The grand finals, held from December 15 to 17, featured 16 teams battling it out for glory. Blind Esports showcased exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork, amassing a total of 244 points to claim the top spot.

The runner-up position went to Team Gladiator Esports, earning them Rs 20 lakhs, while Team Insane secured third place with 174 points and a prize of Rs 10 lakhs.

In terms of winnings, the champion, Blind Esports, received Rs 40 lakh, the runner-up, Gladiator Esports, received Rs 20 lakh, and the second runner-up, Team Insane, received Rs 10 lakh. The fourth-place team, Team Entity, took home Rs 5 lakh. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of BMPS, SPOWER from Blind Esports, received Rs 3 lakh, and the Best In-Game Leader (IGL), AADI from Team Insane, received Rs 2 lakh.

Teams securing fifth to sixteenth positions were also awarded prizes, ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 1 lakh.

The event drew a massive turnout of over 15,000 fans who passionately cheered on their favourite teams and players. Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of Krafton India, and Karan Pathak, Head of Esports at Krafton India, were joined on stage by Mibu Kim, Head of Strategy & Finance at Krafton India, and Shyam Deshpande, Associate Art Director at Krafton Inc., to present the trophy and the winner's cheque.

Congratulating the winners and all participating teams, Karan Pathak said, "BMPS signifies our commitment to the growth of Esports in India. He added, "Krafton India is proud to provide a platform for these incredible talents and to contribute to the Esports community's continued success."

The BMPS finale marked a significant moment for the Indian Esports industry, highlighting the immense potential and talent of the country's gamers.
