New Delhi: Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are busy promoting their upcoming film ‘Liger’. During one of the promotional events at a suburban mall in Mumbai, the crowd was uncontrollable and went berserk after seeing Vijay Deverakonda.

On Sunday evening, a huge crowd had gathered at the Nexus Seawoods mall in Navi Mumbai to catch a glimpse of the actors. It went out of control and due to a stampede-like situation the actors had to leave leaving the event mid-way. According to the videos going viral on social media, a fan also fainted at the event.

After leaving the event mid-way, Vijay Devarakonda took to Instagram and wrote a note for his fans who were present at the mall for a glimpse of him. He wrote, Your love has touched me. Hope you all are safe and back home. Wish I could have been there with you all so much longer. Thinking about you all as I go to bed. Goodnight Mumbai."

Dharma Productions, one of the banners behind the upcoming movie, in a brief statement said the team had to leave the event midway due to safety concerns.
