Manoj Bajpayee starrer ‘The Family Man 2’ has been making waves ever since Amazon Prime Video unveiled the teaser. While many fans are curious to know ‘where is Srikant?’, others are eagerly waiting to see Samantha Akkineni in the role of an antagonist. The tinsel town diva will be seen as Rajji, who will lock horns with Bajpayee’s character in the second season of the hit web series. Ahead of the trailer launch of ‘The Family 2’, the streaming giant has introduced a Twitter character emoji of the two leading stars of the series.
The emoji was enough to create buzz for the show on social media. According to reports, Samantha Akkineni has become the first Indian actress to have an emoji on Twitter. The ‘Kaththi’ actress expressed her excitement while responding to fans on the micro-blogging site.
Samantha wrote "Really??" while reacting to a piece of news which suggested that she is the first female Indian star to have her own character emoji on Twitter.
The trailer of ‘The Family Man’ season two was originally supposed to release on January 19; however, it is yet to unveiled. The teaser created anticipation among the fans as Srikant Tiwari went missing and his family and colleagues had to look for him.
Samantha Akkineni will make her debut in the digital space with the new season of ‘The Family Man’. She will be seen creating obstacles in the path of Srikant, who will be ready to tackle all the challenges. In the first season, the intelligence officer had to battle Moosa.
Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi and Sharad Kelkar will reprise their respective roles in ‘The Famil Man 2’. The web series will also star Seema Biswas, Sunny Hinduja, Darshan Kumar, Mime Gopi, Devadarshini Chetan and N Alagamperumal in pivotal roles. The action thriller will premiere on Amazon Prime Video next month. It will be available for streaming on the OTT platform from February 12, 2021.
Talking about Samantha Akkineni, the actress was last seen in ‘Jaanu’, which received mixed reviews from the critics.
