'Bandish Bandits' Director Anand Tiwari & Angira Dhar Announce Their Wedding, See PIC!

Anand Tiwari and Angira Dhar kept their wedding a secret for over a month.

Mumbai: It’s time to send congratulatory messages to actor-director Anand Tiwari and Angira Dhar as they have tied the knot. The couple got married on April 30, 2021 in the presence of their loved ones in an intimate ceremony. Anand posted a photo on social media to share the good news after keeping his wedding under wraps for over a month. 

Anand and Angira worked together in a film titled 'Love Per Square Foot', which released in 2018. Tiwari treated the fans with a photo from their wedding on his official Instagram handle. He wrote, “On 30-04-21 Angira and I sealed our friendship into a marriage, with our family, closest friends and God as our witness. With life slowly unlocking around us, we wanted to unlock this happiness with you.”

Amol Parashar, Sayani Gupta, Nehha Pendse, Tridha Chaudhary, Avneet Kaur and other celebs congratulated the newly married couple. 'Aashram' fame Tridha wrote, "Wow!!! This is Fabulous!!! Congratulations to the Beautiful couple" while 'Four More Shots' actress Sayani commented, "Whaoooo!!! Congratulations!!! This is amazing guys!" 

Who Is Anand Tiwari?

Anand Tiwari is known for his roles in films like 'Udaan', 'Aisha', 'Go Goa Gone', 'Kites', to name a few. On the professional front, he was last seen in Arjun Rampal and Manav Kaul starer 'Nail Polish'.

The 'Chhapaak' actor made his feature film directorial debut with 'Love per Square Foot', which released on Netflix. The movie starring Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar was the first Indian original film to premiere directly on the streaming giant. Tiwari directed the critically acclaimed web series 'Bandish Bandits', which beamed on Amazon Prime Video.

Angira, who has worked in films like 'Commando 3' and 'Bang Baaja Baaraat', shared an unseen photo from their wedding. She looked elegant in a red bridal saree, which she paired with traditional jewelry. Gauahar Khan, Neha Dhupia, Sumeet Vyas and other celebs dropped comments on her post. 

On the Angira front, she will be next seen in 'Mayday', which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles.

Earlier this month, Yami Gautam surprised her fans by announcing her wedding to Aditya Dhar. The couple also got married in a secret ceremony in Himachal Pradesh.
