Just Married! TV Couple Viraf Patell- Saloni Khanna Tie The Knot At Bandra Court In Presence Of Just 3 People

Neither Viraf nor Saloni’s family members were present for the wedding ceremony as the couple wanted to ensure their safety considering the rising number of COVID cases.

TV actors Viraf Patell and Saloni Khanna are now man and wife as the couple tied the nuptial knot in an intimate ceremony at Bandra Court in Mumbai today (May 6).

The duo had a simple court wedding, owing to the on-going pandemic situation. For the wedding while bride Saloni wore an off-white saree, groom Viraf opted for a formal suit in matching colour.

A report in etimes states that, neither Viraf nor Saloni’s family members were present for the wedding ceremony as the couple wanted to ensure their safety considering the rising number of COVID cases.

Speaking exclusively with Etimes, after wedding Viraf says, “We convinced our respective parents and families to not travel in these scary times. So, it was just us and three friends, who were also the witnesses for the court wedding. Two of them recovered from COVID two weeks ago, and the third one has already taken both doses of the vaccine.”

Viraf Patell, who was a sailor in the merchant navy for five long years, bagged the title of Grasim Mr. India 2005. He made his small screen debut with Sony TV’s ‘Mahi Way’. The handsome actor shot to fame after playing the role of Mrityunjay in Life OK’s ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ opposite Chhavi Pandey.

Viraf grabbed eyeballs with her performance in Star Plus' 'Naamkarann' opposite Barkha Sengupta. On the professional front, he was last seen in ZEE5's 'Taish'.

Talking about Saloni, the actress has worked in 'Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala' and 'The Heartbreak Hotel'.

Our heartiest congratulations to the newlyweds!
