New Delhi: Actor Vicky Kaushal seems to be keen on working with director Anand L Rai after watching his latest film 'Atrangi Re'. The 'Sardar Uddham Singh' actor hurled praises on the cast of the film and made a request to director Anand L Rai to cast him in the latter's next directorial venture.
Taking to his Instagram, Vicky shared the poster of the film in his story, lauding the performance of actors Dhanush, Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in 'Atrangi Re'. Mightily impressed with the film, the 'URI' actor wrote on the picture, "Kitni pyaari Film hai... mazaa aa gaya! @saraalikhan95 such a difficult role to play and how wonderfully you have surrendered yourself to it. Appreciating Dhanush and Akshay Kumar, he wrote, "@dhanushkraja absolutely genius. @akshaykumar Garda uda diye! @aanandlrai Cast me in your next Film Sir, please!"
'Atrangi Re' released on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar on December 24, 2021. The film's theatrical release was being postponed since a long time owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Soon after its release, the film that boasts of a love story with a twist, became the most-watched film of the year on the OTT platform.

On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal who recently tied the knot with actress Katrina Kaif, has resumed the shoot of his upcoming film with Sara Ali Khan in Indore. The actor recently posted a picture on Instagram where he can be seen flaunting his muscular biceps. His fans just cannot stop drooling over the picture.
