Varun Dhawan And Janhvi Kapoor To Co-Star In Nitesh Tiwari's Romantic Flick 'Bawaal'

New Delhi: Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have created quite a buzz after the announcement of their upcoming project 'Bawaal'. The audience is already excited to see the fresh pairing of these two talented actors, on-screen.

The film will be directed by the National Award winning filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, who has earlier directed films like 'Chillar Party', 'Dangal' and 'Chhichhore'.

Both Varun and Janhvi took to their social media handles to share a poster, announcing their upcoming film. Sharing a post on Instagram, the 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya' actor wrote, "Ab hoga #BAWAAL! 💥 So excited and grateful to announce my next with the amazing duo, #SajidNadiadwala & @niteshtiwari22 along with @janhvikapoor ♥️

As soon as the actors announced the project, their fans, friends and family members reacted on the post with fire and heart emojis. Janhvi's half-siblings Arjun and Anshula Kapoor also reshared the post on their Instagram stories.

Touted to be a love story, 'Bawaal' will soon go on floors and will hit the theatres on April 7, next year. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who has collaborated with Nitesh on 'Chhichhore', which bagged Best Hindi Feature Film National Award.

Although further details of the project have been kept under wraps by the makers, this will be the first time when Varun and Janhvi will be working together as a lead pair.

On the work front, both Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have an interesting line-up of projects. Varun Dhawan will next-be-seen in Dharma Productions' 'Jugg Jugg Jiyo' opposite Kiara Advani. He has also been roped in for the web-series 'Citadel' opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The series is directed by Raj and DK.

Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, recently turned heads at the Lakme Fashion Week, as she walked the ramp for designers Manish Malhotra and Punit Balana. She has 'Mr And Mrs. Mahi' and 'Mili' in her kitty, alongwith other projects.
