Vatsal Sheth To Enter 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' As Mishti's Old Friend!

Film & TV actor Vatsal Sheth, who was last seen in Colors TV's 'Kaun Hai?' opposite actress-wife Ishita Dutta, will soon enter 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke'.

'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', featuring Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma in lead roles of 'Abeer' & 'Mishti' respectively, went on-air in March this year and is fetching decent numbers for the channel. Viewers are loving the chemistry between lead pairs Shaheer-Rhea, Ritvik Arora-Kaveri Priyam as well as Rupal Patel's grey-shaded character. To make the show more interesting and entertaining, 'YRHPK' makers are now set to introduce a new character. In the upcoming episodes, 'Yeh Rishtey..' will witness the entry of a popular actor who will play Mishti's old friend in the Star Plus show.
Actor Vatsal Sheth, who has featured in various films as well as TV shows, is confirmed to enter 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' as Mishti's friend. The talented actor, who has played the anti-hero in his previous shows, will finally be seen playing a positive role in the show. Confirming the same, Vatsal told an entertainment portal, "With this show, I am looking forward to getting back to my chocolate-boy image, the one I had in 'Just Mohabbat' (1996-2000) and the film, 'Tarzan — The Wonder Car' (2004). It feels great and different. I agree that it’s difficult to break the set image on TV, and people will expect me to do something crazy, but they will be shocked to see me in a different avatar."
