New Delhi: Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has managed to win the hearts of the viewers with its drama-packed episodes. The show starring Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan has recently completed 3000 episodes. It became the first Hindi daily soap to achieve the milestone. ‘Yeh Rishta’ has been topping the TRP charts since the past few weeks. The five-year leap in ‘YRKKH’ has done wonders for the show. Ardent fans of the show are eagerly waiting for the reunion of Kartik and Naira. After the wedding track of Kartik and Vedika, the makers are now all set to spice up things by introducing courtroom drama in the show. Yes, you read that right.

According to a report in a leading daily has suggested that TV actress Payal Nair will enter ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She will play a pivotal cameo in the show. Payal will essay the role of Kartik Goenka’s (Mohsin) lawyer, the report added. “I am returning to TV after over a year as I was busy with other work commitments. Besides, nothing exciting came my way,” Payal Nair told Times Of India. The actress, who has played negative roles several times in her career, told the daily that it was better to do a powerful role for few episodes. ‘’It’s better to do a powerful role for a few episodes than feel monotonous with a long-running character,” Payal told TOI.
