'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai': THIS 'Bepannaah' actor REPLACES Rishi Dev as Naksh in the show

New Delhi: TV actor Rishi Dev, who plays the role of Naksh Singhania in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, has bid adieu to the popular Star Plus show. Speculations have been rife that the ‘Balika Vadhu’ actor quit the show because he wanted to focus on his growing YouTube channel and also look for greener pastures. Rishi posted a heartfelt post on Instagram, announcing his exit from the show that stars Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi in key roles. ‘’Playing Naksh Singhania has been amazing why? Everyday facing new Challenges when it comes to Perform scenes so that it can touch millions of hearts, having the bond with co actors so that it can make million of fans feel how much we are really connected, Eating healthy to look Best in every look????, Waiting for the Tags to see how much you’ve liked me as Naksh and Giving the Love back in the best Possible way! The Love and Support that you guys have given to me as Naksh is Unbelievable But there has been times when you might have been disappointed uss ke leye Meri Taraf se Apologise...Fans are not only Fans..Aap log duniya ho meri aur duniya mae age chalte rehne kelye hume age badhne ki koshish bhi kari chahiye na! Thanks again for Supporting Naksh aur abh yeh Naksh aapse vida leta hai aur Rishi toh humesha aapke sath hi rahega,’’ Rishi Dev wrote in his Instagram post.

As per the latest buzz, the makers of YRKKH have found Rishi’s replacement. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Shehzad Shaikh has been roped to play the role of Naksh in ‘Yeh Rishta’. The ‘Qubool Hai’ actor confirmed the development on Instagram and said that he is excited to work with Rajan Shahi. Shehzad was recently seen in Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda starrer ‘Bepannaah’ which went off air last month.

Interestingly, before Rishi Dev, Rohan Mehra played the role of Naksh in the popular daily soap. Rishi and his on-screen wife Mohena Singh won several hearts with their chemistry and fans will definitely miss seeing him as Naksh.
