New Delhi: Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ is one of the most loved shows on Indian television. The daily soap starring Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in the respective roles of Ishita and Raman is quite popular among the TV viewers. Speculations were rife that the makers of the hit the show will introduce a spin-off of ‘YHM’ which will be titled ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’. We had earlier informed you that ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ had got an extension after ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ got pushed further. ‘Na Bole Tum Na Main Kuch Kaha’ fame actress Aakanksha Singh was rumoured to play the female lead in the show. ‘Krishna Chali London’ actor Karan Vohra was in the race to play the male lead. (Source- Instagram) Gossip mills are now buzzing with the rumours that ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ will never see the light of the day as it has been scrapped. Yes, you read that right. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ spin-off has been cancelled by the channel. "Contrary to reports, the show has not been put on the backburner. It has been canceled by the network and the production house," a source told Bollywoodlife. The report further added that the makers (Balaiji Telefilms) will bring another show to replace ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’. However, it won’t be a spin-off. "The new series is currently at the nascent stage. It will be a love drama," the source further told the portal. Talking about ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, the current track of the show is focusing on Raman’s chautha as he has been shown dead in a mid-air crash. Karan Patel will fly off to Bulgaria commence shoot for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 10’. Watch this space for more updates!
