Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister Supports Ankita Lokhande, Says 'You’re The Best And Purest'

’s sister Shweta Kirti has supported the actor in her Bigg Boss journey.
Shweta shared an old picture with Ankita on Instagram stories and wrote, “We love you, Anki! You are the best and the purest.” The post came after Ankita’s mother Vandana defended her on accusations of taking Sushant’s name for sympathy.
In a recent interview with Galatta India, she said, “Ankita and Sushant lived together for seven years in this house with me. She truly loved him… Ankita never talked about Sushant on her own. One time Munawar asked her about him and then Abhishek asked her. And she has always said good things about Sushant. I am very proud of that.”
She also stated that Ankita has stayed in touch with Sushant’s family. “She talks with Shweta, Rani di calls her and she even talks to his father,” she said in the interview.
Earlier when Vicky Jain’s mother was asked about Ankita talking about Sushant very frequently, she had said that she does this to gain sympathy. “Ankita has been naming Sushant. Looks like she is trying to gain sympathy for herself. Sushant is anyway gone,” she said.
Ankita and Sushant met on the sets of their show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and started dating. They parted ways in 2016 after seven years of relationship. Ankita had said on the show that she kept her breakup a secret and didn’t tell anyone about it for two years.
“Bahut baar banda batata nahi hai break-up ke baare main kyunki ussko lagta hai ki shayad wapas relationship thik hojaye. Ek hope rehti hai yaar. For two years, I didn’t want anyone to know about my breakup,” she told Isha Malviya in a conversation.
She shared that she was always hopeful that Sushant would come back to her.
“I had hopes of Sushant returning as our relationship was of seven years. I had hoped he would return home and hence I didn’t tell anyone. I was staying in a home which had photos of us all over,” Ankita added.
Ankita married businessman Vicky Jain in December 2021.
