Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Actor Karan Mehra To Make His TV Return With THIS Colors' Show

New Delhi: Popular TV actor Karan Mehra managed to win the hearts of the viewers with his power-packed performance as Natik in Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Karan’s chemistry with co-star Hina Khan helped the show in grabbing several eyeballs. The handsome actor quit the show in 2016 after playing the role of a loyal husband for seven years. Ardent fans of Karan have been eagerly waiting to see him back on the small screen. They won’t have to wait for more as he has bagged a meaty role in a daily soap. According to a report in a leading daily, Karan Mehra will make his return to TV with Colors channel’s ‘Shubaramabh’. Yes, you read that right! Mehra will be seen playing the role of a judge in the popular show. The actor, while talking to the daily, said that he immediately said yes to the project. He also gave important details about the character. “I was waiting for a good script, and when I was offered this role in Shubhaarambh, I immediately gave it my nod. I am playing a judge in a competition, and the character is different from my previous ones. While viewers have so far seen me in softer roles, this character is serious, virtuous and morally upright,” Karan told Times Of India. Karan took to social media to share the first picture from the sets.

Talking about ‘Shubarambh’, the show stars Mahima Makwana and Akshit Sukhija in the respective roles of Rani and Raja. The show was launched on December 2, 2019. On the professional front, Karan Mehra was last seen in a cameo role in ‘Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna’. The show starred Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam in lead roles.
