‘Sasural Genda Phool’ actress Shruti Ulfat bags role in ‘Naamkarann’

New Delhi: One of the popular and versatile actress of TV industry Shruti Ulfat is back working with Star Plus. After working in Zee TV’s Jamai Raja and Life Ok show ‘Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha’ actress will make an entry in Naamkarann with new avatar. As we earlier told you that Star Plus show ‘Naamkarann’ is gearing up for a huge leap in the show, now there is news that another actress has been roped in to play a prominent character. According to a news in Tellychakkar.com, Shruti Ulfat has been roped in to play mother to the male protagonist, Zain Imam aka Neil. As per the sources of the portal, “Shruti will be seen in a very different and modern look. Though a Punjabi, she will believe in posing to be a woman who is very up market. Even though she would not know English, she will deliberately want to speak in English, which will create comic relief. Her character will be cute and full of life.” While confirming her entry, Shruti told the portal, “Yes, I have started shooting for Naamkarann. It is a very interesting role, very different from what I have played recently.” Shruti Ulfat is known for her role ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, ‘Shrimaan Shrimati’ and ‘Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zarurat Hai’. After leap, Aditi Rathore will play the role of grown up Avni. Earlier it was being played by Arsheen Naamdar.
