Popular TV actress Surbhi Chandna, who became a household name after playing the lead role of 'Anika' opposite Nakuul Mehta in Gul Khan's popular Star Plus show 'Ishqbaaaz', is reportedly set to come back on small-screen and will play the female lead in the remake of much-loved show 'Sanjivani'. There were rumours that Nakuul Mehta or Namit Khanna will romance Surbhi in 'Sanjivani' remake however the makers are yet to finalize the male lead. However, the latest buzz suggests that the show will go on-air in a few months. Speaking about the same, a source told SpotboyE that, "The serial is going on floors soon and will premiere from July 1 this year. Featuring Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget, Karan Wahi, Shilpa Shukla among others, 'Dill Mill Gayye' too went on to become one of the most loved shows on Indian Television. (Jennifer, Karan, Shilpa and Karan Singh Grover in Dill Mill Gaye) Talking about 'Sanjivani' remake, Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli will reportedly be a part of the show. For the uninitiated, Mohnish and Gurdeep were a apart of original 'Sanjivani' as well in which they played the role of 'Dr. Shashank' and 'Dr' Juhi' respectively. Last month, there was a buzz that Sayantani Ghosh is also in talks with the makers to play an important role in the show. However, the official announcement of the show is still awaited.
