As according to the latest buzz, TV actor and model Namit Khanna has been finalized opposite Surbhi Chandna. Earlier there were rumours that Nakuul Mehta and Namit Khanna are the front runners for the male lead but finally it's Namit who bagged the show and will now romance Surbhi in 'Sanjivani' remake. Sanjivani' actors Rupali, Mihir, Gurdeep and Sanchit Bedi (Photo: Web) Talking about their characters, it has been revealed that Surbhi will be playing an innocent, shy Punjabi girl, who comes to Sanjivani to prove that her parents are innocent (what for, isn't know just yet). Namit's character, on the other hand, is going to play a surgeon who of course is quite the charmer.

Surbhi and Namit's characters on show will start off their relationship hating each other, which will  eventually turn into love. Meanwhile, the second season will also see few actors from the previous season including Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli who will make a return. The hospital drama was quite a popular show back  2002-2005, and now with a new pairing and new story, but the same hospital, let's see if the makers manage to recreate the charm!
