'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' actress Rucha Hasabnis penned an emotional note for her father on social media.

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Rucha Hasabnis, who is fondly know for playing the role of Rashi in Star Plus’ ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, is grief stricken as her father is no more. Rucha’s father passed away on August 8, 2020. The actress took to social media to share the news of her dad’s demise with her fans. Rucha’s ‘Saathiya’ co-star Mohammad Nazim dropped a comment on the post. He offered his condolences and wrote, “RIP.” A few days back, Rucha had shared a post to inform her fans that her dad defeated COVID-19 but was fighting for lung recovery. She had requested fans to pray for his speedy recovery. “My dad has defeated Covid! But now is fighting for his lung recovery. Request you all to keep him in your prayers and hope for a speedy recovery. Stay safe everyone,” her post read.

Rucha Hasabnis tied the knot with Rahul Jagdale in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony ceremony on January 26, 2015. The couple welcomed a baby girl on December 10, 2019. They have named their daughter Ruhi Jagdale. She became a household name after playing the role of Rashi opposite Vishal Singh in 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya'. She has quit acting after getting married.
