Raaz Mahal: NOT ‘Ishqbaaaz’ Actor Leenesh Mattoo But Vikram Singh Chauhan To Play LEAD In Gul Khan’s Show?

Vikram Singh Chauhan will play the male lead in Gul Khan's 'Raaz Mahal'. The role was earlier supposed to be played by ‘Ishqbaaaz’ actor Leenesh Mattoo.

New Delhi: Popular TV producer Gul Khan is currently producing three shows on Star Plus- ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’, ‘Nazar’ and ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Jai’. While ‘Kullfi’ and ‘Nazar’ are doing quite well in terms of TRPs, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ will go off air next month. The show will be replaced by Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna starrer ‘Sanjivani 2’ at 7:30pm slot. Gul Khan is all set to bring another show on the same channel. We have earlier informed you that ‘Ishqbaaaz’ fame Leenesh Mattoo will play the lead in the upcoming show. The actor had played the role of Rudra Oberoi in ‘Ishqbaaaz’ opposite Mansi Srivastava.
We also told you that ‘Kaleerein’ and ‘Naagin 3’ actress Aditi Sharma will romance Leenesh in the show. As per the latest buzz, the show has finally got its title and it will be named ‘Raaz Mahal’. However, Leenesh Mattoo won’t play the lead.

A report in a leading daily suggested that the production house has finalized another actor to play the male lead. We are talking about Vikram Singh Chauhan. "Yes, we had approached Leenesh, but things didn't work out with him. We have been in talks with Vikram since a long time and the deal is expected to materialise soon. We are looking forward to working with him as he is a powerhouse of talent and is popular with the ladies. We are planning to go on floors soon after the remaining cast of the show is locked, which should be by the beginning of next month," a source associated with the show told Times Of India.

Vikram Singh Chauhan made his TV debut with 'Qubool Hai' and later went on to do shows like ‘Ek Hasina Thi' and 'Jaana Na Dil Se Door'. He was last seen in the supernatural show 'Ek Deewaana Tha' co-starring Donal Bisht and Namik Paul. Vikram will make his Bollywood debut with Rani Mukerji starrer 'Mardaani 2'.
