PEHREDAAR PIYA KI: Show going OFF AIR is like suffering MISCARRIAGE, says the Producer

Sony TV’s show ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ manages to make the headlines even after its sudden end.

New Delhi: Sony TV’s show ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ is managing to make the headlines even after its sudden end. Amid controversies, the show ended midway. Well this might be good news for the ones who were against the rare concept of the show but the makers still remain in grief and ponder over its end. In an interview with TOI, producer Sumeet Mittal said "It's a very painful process to end the show abruptly. It surely feels bad. Taking a show off air is like suffering a miscarriage. We work hard for each of our creation, without thinking about the outcome. Whether the show works or not, we put in the same amount of hard work and passion. We didn't want to wait for the audience to reject our show".

I woke up today and prepared coffee to drink as usual .. and as usual I also opened my phone to see what's new .. I was shocked to read the news of the end of the series "pehredar piya ki" ????... I do not know why this world is so cruel ????? .., It's just a serial !!!!! GUYS it's just a story!!!!!! ... what's wrong with you guys!!! ... You have broken our hearts ! ... I do not know what you will do now after the end of the series.. Dancing? .. laughing ???? playing ??????... I tried to find something wrong in the series !!! .. I did'nt find ... The story was very strange rare.. And fun... Why did you do this to us? .. I am very sad now for my favorite actor @tejasswiprakash ????... Please, My love , do not be sad ❤️.. Furthermore on asking about the sudden end, he said "It's not sudden. We have been discussing it internally with the channel ever since the change in time slot was decided. We were skeptical about it and not convinced. We wrote the story keeping the prime time audience in mind and change in the slot would have given us no output. Hence, we decided to end the show mutually. It was a difficult call, but we had to do it."

"We treat audience as an asset so we don't want to lose them. We will return with a new show and the same team very soon. In fact, we have started working on the same.
