New Delhi: Popular dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye’ is all set to return to the small screen with another exciting season. After a blockbuster eighth season, the makers are planning to bring the ninth season of the dance based show. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actress Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya walked away with the winner’s trophy of ‘Nach Baliye 8’. The last season was judged by Sonakshi Sinha, Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri. Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that Malaika Arora & Arbaaz Khan and Shahid Kapoor & Mira Rajput were approached to judge ‘Nach Baliye 9’. As per the latest buzz, Shahid and Mira will turn judges for the show. A report in a portal suggested that ShaMira (as fondly called by fans) took their time before finally saying yes to the makers. The creative of the show will meet the Bollywood couple soon to discuss the format of ‘Nach Baliye’.

“Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were the first choice of the makers for the celebrity judges’ panel; however the couple was not sure about their presence since it’s all about Mira’s debut in the industry. But finally, after giving a long thought; they have finally given their nod. However, they haven’t signed the documents yet. The creative team will be meeting with the couple in a day or two to discuss the entire format and production work,” a source told DBPost.

Interestingly, this will be Mira Rajput’s debut on the small screen. Her hubby has previously judged ‘Jhalak Dikh Laja 8’ on Colors TV in 2015. Talking about Shahid and Mira, the couple welcomed their second child in September last year. The power couple, who are also parents to Misha Kapoor, named their son Zain Kapoor. On the professional front, Shahid is busy shooting for the remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’. The film co-starring Kiara Advani has been titled ‘Kabir Singh’.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that popular TV actress Jennifer Winger will don the hat of the host for ‘Nach Baliye 8’.
