Naagin 5 Actor Ssharad Malhotra Tests Positive For COVID-19

Ssharad Malhotra's wife Ripci Bhatia has tested negative for Coronavirus. The actor is observing home quarantine after he developed mild symptoms.

New Delhi: Popular TV actor Ssharad Malhotra, who is currently seen as Veer in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Naagin 5’, has tested positive for COVID-19. The talented actor is observing mandatory quarantine after showing mild symptoms. He is currently under medical supervision.  Ssharad’s wife Ripci Bhatia, who has tested negative for the virus, is following all precautionary measures. The couple tied the knot last year. The ‘Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki’ actor requested the fans to pray for his recovery and said that he will 'bounce back stronger'. "They say if you stay positive good things and people will be drawn to you. Damn! Took this line too seriously. Unfortunately I have tested positive for COVID-19, with mild symptoms and thankfully my wife has tested negative and continues to follow all precautionary measures. I am in home quarantine, under strict medical supervision, so please keep me in your prayers and I promise to bounce back sooner and stronger," Sharad Malhotra said in a statement.

Several TV celebs including Priya Ahuja, Navina Bole, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent times. The likes of Parth Samthaan, Mohena Kumari Singh, Shrenu Parikh and Rajesh Kumar have successfully recovered from the virus. The makers of ‘Naagin 5’ are expected to change the track as Ssharad plays one of the main leads in the supernatural show. The revenge saga also stars Surbhi Chandna and Mohit Sehgal.
