'Baahubali' actor Rana Daggubati to replace Vikas Gupta as 'Ace of Space 2' host?

Vikas Gupta's 'MTV Ace of Space' will soon come back on TV with a new season and a new host.

After the success of 'MTV Ace of Space' season 1, hosted by 'mastermind' Vikas Gupta, the channel is all set to bring the show's second season on small-screen very soon. As reported earlier, Vikas Gupta will not host the show's upcoming season as he's busy with his production ventures. Hence, 'Ace of Space 2' makers are in talks with few popular names to replace Vikas Gupta as new host. Earlier this month, Karan Patel confirmed that he has been approached to host the show. Now latest buzz suggests that, the makers are also in talks with 'Baahubali' actor Rana Daggubati.

But there's another actor who has turned out to be their top choice," a source told an entertainment portal, further revealing that, "Rana Daggubati is the one they are talking to at the moment." "Rana has been in discussion with the team for Ace of Space 2. He has also liked the idea and given his verbal nod. But the modalities need to be worked out. Given it's a regular show, he also plans to shift to Mumbai to shoot the episodes on a daily basis," the source further told Pinkvilla. Talking about the MTV show, 'Ace of Space' is the reality show in which contestants are seen fighting it out for the most basic means of existence - space.
