New Delhi: Faisal Shaikh aka Mr. Faisu has amassed massive fame after participation in shows like 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' Season 12 and dance-show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' Season 10. Mr. Faisu recently appeared on a podcast with Maniesh Paul where he recounted a rather interesting incident when he broke a perfume bottle worth Rs. 14,000.
Mr. Faisu recalled that he once got a job at a store where there were 32 girls and he was the only guy. When Maniesh teased him about getting along with 32 girls, Faisu asked him to understand his plight.
He shared, “It was evening time and a beautiful customer entered. I held her hand to spray it on her hand and then waved it a bit to test the fragrance. That’s how it is done. I looked at her and got so nervous, the bottle fell from my hand. It was of Rs 14,000. It was my 2nd or 3rd day at work and all the girls got to know that I broke such an expensive bottle. I went to the store the next day to own up and they said they will deduct it from two months of my salary. I worked there for two months and left. Now I have a brand of myself. I launched it on my birthday and got a Rs 1 crore pre-order.”
Mr. Faisu also shared bits from his rags to riches story. He added that he came from a low income background and his first earning was Rs. 50 while selling clothes on the streets of Mumbai.
Faisu has earned a lot of fame and recognition through his dance and mimicry videos. On Faisu's appearance on the dance show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', Faisu was appreciated for his dance skills.
