New Delhi: Popular TV actor Parth Samthaan’s father Mr Lagathe has passed away in Pune. The actor, who is currently seen in Star Plus’ ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ opposite Erica Fernandes, had rushed to the hospital after he came to know about his father’s health. The 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan' actor was shooting in Mumbai for his show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' when he received a call about his father being hospitalized. His father was admitted to the hospital in serious condition. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Mr Lagathe's condition didn't improve despite the team of doctors trying their best. Unfortunately, Parth could only reach after his dad had breathed his last, the report in SpotboyE said. The cause of the death is yet to be known. (Parth with his father) A pack-up has been called on the sets of Ekta Kapoor's 'Kasautii 2'. Parth's co-stars are planing to travel to Pune to be with the actor, the report in the portal added. Parth's family hails from Pune and the actor recently bought a house for his parents in Mumbai.
