New Delhi: Popular TV actor Parth Samthaan has managed to win the hearts of the viewers with his performance as Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. The show co-starring Hina Khan and Erica Fernandes has become a fan favourite in no time. Parth recently welcomed his on-screen father Uday Tikekar by giving him a special surprise. Uday plays the role of Moloy Basu in ‘Kasautii 2’ and his character was shown to be in coma. The actor has resumed shooting for the show as Moloy will soon wake up from coma and expose Komolika’s ill deeds infront of the family. Parth took to his Instagram story to share a picture of a red velvet cake which he brought for Uday. The caption of the photo read, ‘’ "From one father to another!! The ‘Kaisi Yeh Yariaan’ actor has resumed shooting for ‘Kasautii 2’after performing the final rites of his father. Parth’s dad left for his heavenly abode last week. The actor immediately rushed to Pune after hearing about his father’s health but he could only reach after Mr Lagte passed away. The current track of ‘Kasautii 2’ is focusing on the tiff between Komolika (Hina Khan) and Prerna (Erica Fernandes). Fans are loving the nok-jhok between the two and they are also eagerly waiting to see the reunion of AnuPre. With Moloy’s re-entry, things are expected to change in the lives of Anurag, Prerna and Komolika. Watch this space for more updates!
