Karan Kundrra Slams Tabloids Over False Wedding Reports With Tejasswi Prakash: 'Can I Announce My Own Marriage Please?'

Actor Karan Kundrra has taken a dig at entertainment portals for repeatedly spreading baseless rumours about his wedding plans with his girlfriend and actress Tejasswi Prakash. Frustrated with the constant buzz, Karan took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday evening and called out ‘new age tabloids’ for turning speculation into news without checking facts.

In a strongly worded post, the Bigg Boss 15 contestant addressed the misleading reports surrounding his engagement and wedding. “Dear new age tabloids I’m sick of you marrying me off this year or next, announcing my engagement on a reality show, just coz we’re in Dubai.. I understand it gives you a lot of numbers and it’s all about that these days apparently but to most of you me or my agent are just a phone call away.. why don’t you just call and confirm?” he wrote.

Expressing his exasperation further, Karan added, “Abhi thoda zyaada ho ra hai nai???? Meri shaadi/engagement/roka/bacha/breakup/midlife crisis mein khud announce kar loon please.” He signed off with emojis and a cheeky line: “love and engagement to y’all always.”

His comments came shortly after a report claimed that Karan and Tejasswi might tie the knot in the next season of Netflix’s 'Dubai Bling'. The couple, who began dating during their stint on 'Bigg Boss 15', have been constantly making headlines for their relationship milestones—from public appearances to meeting each other’s families.

Adding to the curiosity, Karan recently featured on Bharti Singh’s podcast, where he opened up about his bond with Tejasswi and her family. Recalling his first meeting with her parents, he said, “I sat with her parents for 30 minutes, after which her mom said, ‘You can take my daughter with you now.’ They are very sweet and simple people, even Tejasswi is very normal and down to earth. She is often very bossy, but her best quality is that she doesn’t get suppressed. You cannot dominate her. If I cannot explain to her the logic behind something, it won’t work. She is very street smart that way."
