I Suddenly Lost Sense Of Who I Was: Neha Bhasin Reveals She Hit Rock bottom After Bigg Boss

After Himanshi Khurana another Bigg Boss contestant has spoken about the effect of the show on their mental health. Neha Bhasin revealed that participation in the reality show affected her strongly.

New Delhi: After Himanshi Khurana another Bigg Boss contestant has spoken about the effect of the show on their mental health. Singer Neha Bhasin revealed that participation in the reality show affected her strongly and she hit the rock bottom. 

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Neha said that the trolling and negativity that she had to face because of her participation in the show left strong impressions on her mind. But she also stated that she doesn’t regret doing the show. 

“Just because I don’t tell my story like a victim doesn’t mean I laid on a bed of roses with no thorns. You never feel you might hit rock bottom at this age, but you can. And people think rock bottom means financial but it can be emotional too. The (last) year was tough because I suddenly lost sense of who I was. I was physically present in public but I wasn’t there mentally,” she was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times. 

Neha said that she he wasn’t actively working in the last year and that made her think a lot. “It got me thinking about what next. Am I done with that area (music)? It felt as if I was starting up fresh . Through all of that, I kept working, fighting everything. I am so grateful that I am out of it and I have more gratitude towards everything now than before,” she told Hindustan Times. 

Earlier Bigg Boss 13 contestant and Punjabi singer Himanshi Khurana revealed on Punjabi talk show ‘Dil Diyan Gallan,’ that she went into depression afer the show. 

“When I went into the Bigg Boss 13 house, everybody thought that this was life-changing, but that was not the reality. I went into depression because of the negativity in the house. I suffered so much that it took me almost two years to come out of it," she told the show host Sonam Bajwa. 

Himanshi explained further, "I went into severe depression after Bigg Boss 13, which started affecting my heart. I used to get panic attacks before going to events, shoots, and while I was dancing at Afsana Khan's wedding, I got a heart issue, due to which I was rushed to the hospital. I was in the hospital, and only my close people knew about it." 

She said it took her so long to recover and build her life again and that she is still recovering from it.
