EXCLUSIVE| Ankita Lokhande On Sushant Singh Rajput's Father Filing FIR Against Rhea Chakraborty: 'I Believe His Family'

Ankita Lokhande, in an exclusive interview with ABP News, revealed that she was not in touch with Sushant Singh Rajput.

New Delhi: Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case took a new turn when his father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five other people. In his five-page FIR, Singh accused the ‘Jalebi’ actress of blackmailing his son and threatening him to show his medical reports to the media. A case was registered against Chakraborty under various IPC sections including 341, 342, 380, 406, 420 and 306. A four-member team from Bihar Police reached Mumbai on July 29 to investigate the case. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress, while exclusively talking to ABP News, said that SSR’s family members must have some reason on the basis of which they registered a complaint. She addressed Sushant's father as 'Papa'. “I have to say that if the family members are doing something, then they must have taken the decision after a lot of thinking. They have suffered the biggest loss. They have lost their Rajkumar (son). I am sure they must have some proofs and hence, they have filed the FIR. I believe his family and trust them. I am sure whatever they are doing for him is right," Ankita told ABP News. Talking about Sushant, she said, "He wanted to do everything in life. We started our careers together and he taught me several things. He always inspired and motivated people. He was not someone, who would take his own life. The Sushant I knew, I am confident that he would never fall into depression and take his life."
