The actress, who had a grand wedding on national television in the Bigg Boss 10 house with her then boyfriend and Bhojpuri actor Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, has lashed out these media reports and has challenged the publication to bring that person in front of her. Monalisa married Vikrant inside the Bigg Boss house in 2017 In a recent conversation with the Times of India, Monalisa expressed her displeasure over such reports and blasted out at the media house for spreading such news. "I am very upset since the time I've seen this news report. I mean how can they write something like this without even asking or speaking to me. Vikrant saw this report first and he showed it to me. We started laughing over it, but now I am unable to remove it from my mind as my fans will start believing it. I am lucky I have a partner like Vikrant who is understanding but what if a couple who doesn't have that maturity between them, then such news can spoil their relationship. On what basis have they written that I was in a live-up with this person Madan and that too for six long years. Everyone knows, including my parents, that I met Vikrant in 2008 on the sets of Dulha Albela and since then we started dating each other. Touch wood We have been together since then and our relationship has lasted for so long. I really want to meet this person Madan, I challenge the publication to bring this person in front of me," said Monalisa.

Earlier, when Mona Lisa was in the Bigg Boss house for season 10, several pictures of her with an older person Madan were all over the internet and it also claimed that she was married to him. When TOI asked about the same she responded saying that she has not seen the pictures because she was locked in the BB 10 house and added that 'Even if such a thing had happened why did no one call me to check or verify the news. How can you write about an actress's personal life without any proof? This is so wrong.' She told that after reading the news it has gotten quite stressful for her, however her husband Vikrant is acting as a strong pillar supporting the actress.

Monalisa revealed that, it was Vikrant who read the news first and showed it to her. Though after seeing the report we had a hearty laugh, Monalisa considers she’s lucky to have a partner like Vikrant who is very understanding.
