Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Files Complaint Against Fake Casting Agent Who’s Telling ‘People Like You Should Die And Sushant Should Come Back’

Post the production house learnt about the impostor who’s posing as Balaji Telefilms’ casting agent, they filed a complaint with the authorities at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has not only shaken the film industry, but also the TV industry as well. It has been quite a few days that Television actors are complaining about a hoaxer presenting herself to be Balaji Telefilms’ casting agent. Recently, Namish Taneja shared the screenshots of his chat with SpotboyE who told him that, ‘People like you should die and Sushant should come back.’ Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms went into shock after seeing this, and now, they have responded to this impostor’s activity. The production house has filed a complaint against the fraudster with the authorities at Ambola Police Station in Mumbai. They also took to their social media and released a statement. It read, “We, at Balaji Telefilms Ltd, would like to state that the said person who has sent this message is a fraudulent individual, who is posing to be our casting agent and sending extremely poor in taste communication to aspiring actors. We are neither associated with her in any capacity nor do we know this person. As soon as we were intimated about this matter, yesterday, we filed a police complaint with the authorities at Amboli Police Station against the said individual. We request you not to entertain such imposters.” Balaji Telefilms released a statement after a Twitter user tagged Ekta Kapoor and the production house in her tweet asking them to clarify the fact. Namish Taneja also told SpotboyE, “I was getting WhatsApp messages, SMS and calls from this number when I messaged her what exactly she (I assumed she was a girl after I saw her display picture on Whatsapp) wanted, she told me that she is casting for Balaji Telefilms and wanted to cast me for Naagin 5, I requested her to send the details. Though she failed to provide the details in a professional way, still I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but while chatting I realised something is corny.” “Earlier also I had received calls from Balaji, and they are utter professionals and this girl (God knows whether she is a girl or a boy) was a bit rude and weird. Later, when I stopped replying, she started using bad words and asked me to commit suicide. I wonder, what kind of people are these? And what do they get from doing such things? What will these fake casting/creative directors get after chatting with the actors?” he added. Watch this space for the latest updates.
