New Delhi: Here comes a bad news for 'Ek Rishta Saajedhaari Ka' fans! Well, if reports are to be believed, the makers have decided to shut down the show in upcoming days due to low TRP. The show will air its last episode on January 20 and the creatives are currently working on the final sequence.

When leading entertainment portal Kinshuk Vaidya buzzed the actor about the same, he confirmed the news and said, "Yes, the show is going off air. If everything goes as planned, the last episode will be telecast on the 20th of January. We do not know the reason though."

The show was in limelight for the comeback of its male lead Kinshuk Vaidya.
