Namil Paul & Nikita Dutta's much-loved Sony TV show 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' is set to return on small-screen after three years.

Sony TV's much-loved show 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai', featuring Randeep Rai and Ashi Singh, went off-air last week after a successful run of two years. As reported earlier, the acclaimed show will soon return on TV with second season. After 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai', another popular Sony TV show will soon make a comeback with season two. Namik Paul and Nikita Dutta starrer Sony TV show 'Ek Dujhe Ke Vaaste', which ended in 2016, is returning. After 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai', Nikita Dutta-Namik Paul's 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' To Return With Second Season! The new season is expected to hit the TV screens in December with a fresh star cast. 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai' Lead Ashi Singh To Feature In Show's Second Season? Actress Reacts! Speaking about the same, a source told a leading daily that, "Season One of the show was appreciated by the audience and we wanted to bring it back with a new season. We are positive that we will be able to recreate the magic. We are in the process of locking the story and the cast of the show." Vishal Mehra, the project head, confirmed the same and told TOI that, "The essence of ‘EDKV’, a love story, will be the foundation of the upcoming season as well. The new edition will be set in Bhopal and we are scouting for actors in Bhopal, Gwalior and Indore to play the lead couple." This is indeed a great news for 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' however they are surely going to miss Namik Paul & Nikita Dutta in the second season. On a related note, 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' season one was a decent success and viewers loved lead pair Namik-Nikita's onscreen chemistry. 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' went off-air abruptly after a run of eight months as lead actress Nikita was ill and couldn't shoot for the show. The makers chose not to drag the show and decided to end it.
