Over the years, the show has grown into a national hit, with millions of viewers each year and a solid place in popular culture. People who watched the most recent season of the show hit all-time highs. This year's groundbreaking new form of the show shows all three factors of the house: Dil, Dimaag, and Dum.
This year, Bigg Boss has said that he will be biassed. He has made it clear to the players that he will only care about those who help make the version of the famous show that he supports.
There are three makaans (houses) on 'Bigg Boss' this season: "Makaan no. 1 - Dil," "Makaan no. 2 - Dimaag," and "Makaan no. 3 - Dum."
Salman Khan is back as host of Weekend Ka Vaar, even though the show has a new style. As always, he asks thought-provoking questions and brings things back to reality.
Salman said this about hosting the 17th season of the show: "This time, Bigg Boss will play the game with the contestants their way." This show is fun, dramatic, and full of feelings. All three of these things will be taken to a whole new level this season with the addition of the three game-changing phrases Dil, Dimaag, and Dum.

The people competing in 'Bigg Boss 17' are Navid Sole, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Abhishek Kumar, Isha Malviya, Rinku Dhawan, Arun Mashettey, Sunny Arya, Firoza Khan, Soniya Bansal, and Mannara Chopra.
'Bigg Boss Season 17' premiered on October 15. It airs exclusively on Colors every Monday through Friday at 10:00 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 p.m., with a LIVE feed on JioCinema available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Lock Upp contestant Anjali Arora took to Instagram stories and supported Isha Malviya and also took an indirect dig at her Lock Upp co-contestant Munawar Faruqui and called him a ‘liar.’ She wrote, “Kabhi Kabhi hum apni private life ko expose nahi karna chahte.. private hi rakhna chahte hai.. aur agar tumne kisike liye kuch kiya hai Samarth toh aise interviews mein jatana? Aur Abhishek ye toh sochlo ke aapke parents par kya beet rahi hogi.. aur Isha jo 19 years ki hai harr kisi ko time lagta hai bhai..ye jo Isha ko itna gyan de rahe hai (if you know what I mean) duniya janti hai usne khudne kitna sach bola tha.”

In the latest promo of Bigg Boss 17, Samarth is seen warning Abhishek not to talk to Isha about their relationship. Samarth asks Abhishek, "Kya realization karwana chahta hai tu Isha ko... In tonight's episode, things will get tense and Aishwarya Sharma and Vicky Jain will get into a huge fight. In the promo, Vicky Jain is seen asking Neil Bhatt whether he used to tell Aishwarya that she looked cute while they were dating. Neil said they never dated and got married straight away. Aishwarya gets angry with Vicky's questions and tells Vicky, “Apne rishtey sambhalein dusron k rishton ki panchayat karne ki apko koi zarurat nahi. Meri zindagi par nahi kar sakte, na hi mere pati ki zindagi par kar sakte. (Take care of your own relationships, you don’t need to interfere in others’ relationships.).”
“Aapko jo haq de rahe haina bolne ka, unko bolo. Khud peedit hai khud ki shaadi se, dusron par comment kar raha hai bina kaam ke. Har mard aap ki tarah nahi hota.
