Arhaan made headlines before Bigg Boss 13 premiered when reports claimed that Rashami and he will tie the knot inside the show which they denied later. And during his stay inside the house, actress Amrita Dhanoa claimed that the two had dated in past and even lived-in together. She also alleged that Arhaan hides his identity and his real name is Mazhar Shaikh. Arhaan in his post eviction interview, reacted to all these claims made by Amrita, including that she took care of his expenses too while living together and that he owes her money, about 1 lakh that he is yet to return. Arhaan told TOI, “I don’t know who is Amrita. I have never dated her, toh live-in ka sawaal hi nahi uthta. These controversies were bound to happen since I was a part of a popular reality show. Harr kisi ke saath hota hai. Regarding my name, everyone in the industry knows that my real name is Mazhar Shaikh and that’s not a secret. I use my original name for official contracts, including the one for Bigg Boss. Arhaan is my nick name and Khan is my mother’s surname. I like Arhaan better and feel that it’s more impactful. Rashami’s real name is Shivani. Isn’t it a personal choice? I was in a relationship with someone for four-five years and Rashami knows about it. Both of us know everything about each other.” While Arhaan has denied knowing Amrita, she has been posting pictures of him and his family that she claims to have hard copies of. She also posted some pictures of greeting cards she claims she had given Arhaan during their alleged relationship.

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 13, Hindustani Bhau(Vikas Fhatak) was seen telling Rashami Desai that Arhaan had said to him while making his exit from the house, to look after her. Rashami was in tears hearing this. Now Arhaan wishes to get back inside BB 13 house to be able to make the proposal as he feels he is in love with her now. If this happens, we can also hope for Arhaan to address this controversy before the multiple-cameras inside the house and clear the air for Rashami-fans.
