Bigg Boss 13's Devoleena Bhattacharjee REACTS To Mayur Verma's Cyber Crime Complaint Against Her

Bigg Boss 13 contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee said that Mayur Verma filed a cyber crime complaint against her to grab media attention.

New Delhi: Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 13’ might have ended three months back but the contestants of the reality show continue to remain in limelight. TV’s popular bahu Devoleena Bhattacharjee is in news these days as ‘Mujhe Shaadi Karoge’ contestant Mayur Verma has filed a cyber crime complaint against her. Mayur accused the ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ actress of trying to defame and tarnish his image. It all started when Devoleena said that Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s music video ‘Bhula Dunga’ lacked chemistry while interacting with fans on social media. This didn’t go down well with Mayur, who engaged in a war of words with the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant. Verma shared a digital copy of his complaint on Twitter. He tweeted, "Things were too much. So I have given it to cybercrime now. Now everything is in the hands of cybercrime. I believe cybercrime will take action soon #TimeToStopIt."
Devoleena Bhattacharjee has finally reacted to the cyber crime complaint against her. The actress, while talking to a leading daily, called it a publicity stunt. She further said that she doesn’t know who is Mayur Verma and why he is using her name. “Honestly I don’t know who this Mayur Verma is and why he is using my name everywhere. It could be a publicity stunt. I believe ignorance is the bliss. Neither do I know this person nor about the complaint. Honestly, I don’t want to be tagged with (those) who I don’t even know and if my name is doing any good to him or anyone then god bless them,” Devoleena told Hindustan times. The actress further accused Mayur of doing all this to grab media attention.
Devoleena shot to fame after playing the role of Gopi Bahu in ‘Saathiya’ on Star Plus. She won several hearts after participating in Colors TV’s ‘Bigg Boss 13’. However, her journey in the show was cut short due to health issues. Watch this space for more updates!
