EXCLUSIVE: Rajesh Kareer Overwhelmed With Monetary Support, Says ‘People From China, US & Israel Also Helped Me’

Rajesh Kareer received over Rs 12 lakh after he requested people to help him in an emotional post on social media.

Mumbai: Actor Rajesh Kareer, who has worked in movies like ‘Mangal Pandey’, ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Allah Ke Bande’, had shared a post on social media, requesting the people to help during his financial crisis. The actor had given his bank account details while pleading his friends to extend financial help. His post went viral in no time and several people came forward to deposit money into his account. The balance in his bank account now stands at over Rs 12 lakh. Rajesh had even shared a video, asking everyone to not send any more money as he received enough amount than required to sustain him and his family. People continued to help the actor during his tough times even after he requested them to stop sending money. Rajesh Kareer, while talking to ABP News said, “I am overwhelmed to see the support. I don’t know how to thank the people. The amount ranges from Rs 10 and goes on to Rs 25,000. People from China, the US and Israel have come forward to help me. I don’t know how will I able to repay the favour?,” Rajesh added. The actor had earlier told ABP News that he would return to Punjab and start a small business there. “With this money, I am thinking of starting a dairy. However, I will be able to make a decision only after reaching Punjab. I neither have a house nor any property in my hometown. One of my top priorities is to build a house,” he said.
