Balika Vadhu's Jagya Aka Avinash Mukherjee To RETURN To TV With ‘Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki’

Balika Vadhu fame actor Avinash Mukherjee will make a comeback to TV with the show ‘Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki’.

New Delhi:  Popular TV actor Avinash Mukherjee, who is fondly known for his role of young Jagya in Colors TV’s ‘Balika Vadhu’, has been missing from the small screen since quite some time. The actor was last seen in an episodic of Sony TV’s ‘Man Mein Hai Visshwas’. His last full-fledged role was in ‘Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar’, which featured Ronit Roy. Avinash Mukherjee is now all set to make his comeback with &TV’s recently launched show ‘Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki’. Yes, you read that right. The ‘Sanskar’ actor will play the role of Arjun Mishra in the show, as per a report in a leading daily. ‘Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki’ is the TV adaptation of Marathi film ‘Sairat’, which was also remade in Hindi as ‘Dhadak’. ‘Dhadak’ starred Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in lead roles. “The show is an adaptation of the blockbuster Marathi film, ‘Sairat’. I join the show at a juncture when the lead couple -- Suman (Pranali Rathod) and Badal (Kinshuk Vaidya) -- has eloped. Suman and my father have decided to get us married. It's a grey character and I will be shown as a possessive lover, just the way I am in real life," Avinash told Times Of India.
