KBC 16: Actor Abhishek Bachchan is set to join his father, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, on the popular quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The upcoming episode promises laughter and lighthearted moments as the father-son duo engage in playful banter, as seen in a recently shared promo.
Why Amitabh Bachchan said it was a mistake to call Abhishek on KBC 16
In the clip posted by the channel on Instagram, Abhishek recounts a humorous anecdote about their family dinners, likening them to the quiz show's competitive vibe. He shared, “Humare ghar main sab parivaar mil baat kar khaana khaate hai aur koi sawaal poochta hai toh saare jitne bacche hai… woh sab ek saath bol jaate hai 7 crore. (In our house, the entire family eats together. And if someone asks a question, all the kids shout in unison, ‘7 crore’).”
The anecdote left Amitabh Bachchan laughing, who later jokingly remarked, “Bahut badhi galti kardi inko bulake yahaan (It was a big mistake to call him here).” Abhishek took the opportunity to mimic his father’s signature style, shouting “7 crore,” much to the delight of filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, who was also present on the set.
