All you need to know about the cast of Diya Aur Baati Hum 2

New Delhi: Fans of Star Plus' popular 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' were left disappointed as the show aired its last episode on September 11. But now they can rejoice as the makers are planning to announce the date of its second season very soon. According to the reports of leading portal,  the casting of the show has begun and it will be back with a new storyline and fresh star cast. Earlier we had reported that makers have signed Divyanka Tripathi's cousin KanikaTiwari to play a pivotal role in the show. Kanika rose to fame with Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Agneepath'. And now, the latest we hear is TV actor Kabeer Kumar who played the lead role in 'Tum Hi Ho Bandu Sakha Tumhi' and debutant Mayank Arora will portray the character of Sooraj (Anas) and Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) sons. Top TV actress Niti Taylor can also be seen as Sooraj and Sandhya's daughter 'Khanak' in the show. Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh starrer 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' had a successful run for five years. But due to the drastic fall in TRPs, the makers decided to shut down the show.
