Sushant Singh Rajput Drugs Case: NCB Arrests Drug Peddler In Goa
The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested a peddler in Goa. The name of the accused is Hemal Shah.
Panaji: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last on June 14, 2020. The ‘Dil Bechara’ actor was allegedly found hanging his Bandra apartment and after his father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and others, the case has been transferred to CBI for investigation. Earlier, it was probed by Mumbai Police.
When CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) started with their probe, they found the link of drugs in the case. The drugs case was then handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for investigation. The agency arrested many people related to the drugs case including SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and several other drug peddlers.
The investigation of the drugs case is still on and according to a report of PTI, the Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested a peddler in Goa. The name of the accused is Hemal Shah.
An official told PTI, “Shah's alleged involvement came to light during the investigation of a drugs case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's death.”
He added, “Accordingly a trap was laid and Shah was apprehended in Goa.”
It is almost going to be one year since the talented actor left for his heavenly abode. As the investigation of his death case is still on, the reason for his death has not been yet revealed officially by the CBI.
