Sunny Leone, who turned a year older on May 13, spoke about how special birthdays have always been for her, and her past which has got her everything she has today.

New Delhi: As Sunny Leone celebrates her birthday today, the actor is also super excited about her film 'Kennedy's premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. The actor-model, who turned a year older on May 13, spoke about how special birthdays have always been for her, and her past which has got her everything she has today.

In an interaction with ETimes, Sunny shared that birthdays have always been special for her. " When I was a child my mother would bake a cake. I would invite all my friends. We could dance to my favourite songs. There would be balloons and music and lots of fun.I miss those carefree days, But i also value what I have now."

When asked about what has been the most special gift given to her on her birthday, she told the publication, "My husband is the most precious gift I've ever received, I wouldn't survive a day without him. Daniel is always there every step of the way, whether it is the children's meals, snacks,or bedtime. He is there. We're in this together. We didn't have children on condition that one of us would raise them alone. We had children because we both really wanted them. We also know that the first five years of their lives are the most important. Thus is when they form their best bonds with their parents, siblings. So it's important to have the family together."

Sunny also defended her past and that if it wasn't for her past, she would not have been who she is. "If it wasn't for my past, I would not be who I am. I am not ashamed of it because it has brought me here to India. If I came here as a regular me, with no entertainment experience, then I would not be as popular as I am today with the public."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sunny Leone will be seen in Anurag Kashyap's 'Kennedy' with Rahul Bhatt. Sunny is collaborating with the director and the actor for the first time and audiences are really excited to see what their collaboration brings forward.
