Thalapathy Vijay Starrer 'Leo' Records Over 10,000 Advance Booking In The UK

Starring Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha and Sanjay Dutt, 'Leo' sold over 10,000 tickets in the UK in just 24 hours.

New Delhi: The advance booking of the most anticipated action drama ‘Leo’ starring Thalapathy Vijay has begun in the United Kingdom.  There has been a lot of talk online about how this movie will be among the best of 2023. Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha and Sanjay Dutt will be the stars of the movie, which is ready to arrive on October 19. The demand was so high before the release that the movie has recorded £100k+ bookings in the UK. Given that there is still over a month till the release, this is a surprising number.

It's no secret that Thalapathy Vijay and Rajinikanth are the two biggest names in Tamil cinema outside of India. Recent reports indicate that ticket sales for ‘Leo’ had exceeded 10,000 in under 24 hours. The total gross is one hundred thousand British pounds. There has been a surge in ticket purchases in the UK. The odds are in Leo's favour that it will become the most successful Tamil opener in this area.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media and announced, "#Leo has already crossed £ 100k in sales, despite advance bookings opening at 120 locations, 42 days before its theatrical release… In fact, #Leo is the FIRST #Indian film to open bookings this early in #UK."

Lokesh Kanagaraj film ‘Leo’ reunites the popular pair Vijay and Trisha after 14 years. The film is set to premiere on October 19 and Netflix has acquired the streaming rights. It will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
