The ‘Pushpa 2’ actor has been embroiled in controversy since the film's release, following a tragic stampede at its premiere, which led to a woman's death and left her son critically injured. Allu Arjun was arrested and spent a night in jail.

Over the weekend, his house was attacked by vandals, adding to the mounting legal and personal challenges he has faced in recent days. Despite the turmoil, he took to social media to address the situation for the first time.

Although Allu Arjun has not directly addressed the recent events, he returned to X on Monday night to express his gratitude to Yash Raj Films. The production house had recently praised ‘Pushpa 2’ for breaking multiple box office records, and Allu Arjun shared his appreciation for their support during this time.

Pushpa 2 beats Pathaan

‘Pathaan’ earned Rs 543.09 crore at the Indian box office, with Rs 524.53 crore coming from the Hindi market. On its 19th day, ‘Pushpa 2’ has surpassed this, grossing Rs 1074.85 crore, including Rs 689.4 crore from the Hindi dubbed version. Remarkably, ‘Pushpa 2’ outperformed ‘Pathaan’ on its opening day, earning Rs 70.3 crore in the Hindi market, which is over Rs 15 crore more than film’s Rs 55 crore.
