'Pushpa 2' Fans Debate Sreeleela's Special Dance Number Amid Samantha Ruth Prabhu Comparisons

South actress Sreeleela will feature in a special dance number for Allu Arjun's much-awaited 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'.

New Delhi: The buzz surrounding 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' reached new heights this weekend following the official confirmation that Sreeleela will be featured in a special dance number for the highly anticipated sequel. The announcement, made by team 'Pushpa' on Sunday, has fans buzzing with excitement and disbelief alike. Fans are questioning if she can live up to Samantha Ruth Prabhu's iconic 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava' from the prequel.

The makers of ‘Pushpa 2’ took to social media accounts and dropped a still of Sreeleela in the dance sequence, captioning it, “Team #Pushpa2TheRule welcomes The Dancing Queen @sreeleela14 on board for the #Kissik Song of the Year. The post generated immediate reactions, with fans divided over whether Sreeleela could replicate the massive impact of Samantha’s fiery performance.

A user said, A user said, "Can't match Sam grace," while another one praised Sreeleela, "She's gonna blast the box-office." One user also said, “She can’t pull off what Samantha did.” 

Sreeleela, known for her dazzling dance moves in films like ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Guntur Kaaram’, has proven her talent, but some fans remain unsure if she can match the wild energy and grace that made Samantha’s performance.

About 'Pushpa 2'

The second instalment of Pushpa, titled The Rule, will reunite Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj and the red sandalwood smuggler and Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli. In addition to the lead actors, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil will be making a triumphant comeback with this film. 'Pushpa 2', produced and directed by Mythri Movie Makers and helmed by Sukumar, will hit theatres on December 5.
